These terms cover the Cheek Discord bot and this policy website. Cheek is operated by its developer, who can be reached at safidev8@gmail.com. References to "we" and "us" mean Cheek's operator.
By adding Cheek to a server or using its features, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Cheek. Server administrators can remove the bot at any time. Cheek is an independent project and is not operated or endorsed by Discord.
02. Who can use it
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement, which is at least 13 and may be higher where you live. If you cannot legally agree to these terms on your own, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.
You must follow applicable laws, the Discord Terms of Service, the Discord Community Guidelines, and the rules of the server where you use Cheek.
03. Use it responsibly
Only add or configure Cheek in servers where you have permission. Do not use it to harass people, distribute scams or malware, spam, collect information without authorization, evade moderation, or interfere with the bot or Discord.
Do not submit passwords, access tokens, payment details, or other sensitive information through forms, tickets, or commands. Only submit content you have the right to share.
04. Server features and moderation
Server administrators choose which features to enable and who can access their results. Cheek can manage roles, record moderation actions, process applications and ban appeals, create tickets, generate transcripts, and provide profiles, levels, and virtual rewards.
Automated moderation can make mistakes. Server moderators are responsible for their rules, configuration, and review of moderation decisions. Contact that server's moderators about a ban or other server action. An appeal does not guarantee that a decision will be reversed.
Virtual currency, levels, items, and rewards are features of the bot. They have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and may change or be reset as the service develops.
05. Your content and privacy
You retain your rights in the content you provide. You allow us to process, store, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to provide the features you use, such as delivering a form response to moderators or generating a ticket transcript.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information Cheek handles, who may receive it, and how to request access, correction, or deletion.
06. Availability and responsibility
Cheek is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free results, or permanent storage. Features can be affected by maintenance, Discord permissions, external services, or changes to Discord's requirements.
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
07. Changes and ending use
We may change or discontinue features and restrict access to address abuse, security concerns, or violations of these terms. You can stop using Cheek, and server administrators can remove it or change its permissions. Removing the bot does not automatically delete previously stored records.
We will post updated terms here with a new effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice on this website or through the bot where practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
