This policy explains how Cheek's operator handles information through the Discord bot and this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact safidev8@gmail.com.
Cheek receives information through Discord when you use its features or participate in a server where those features are enabled. What it can access depends on Discord's permissions and the settings chosen by server administrators.
02. Information Cheek handles
- Discord identifiers and account details. User, server, channel, role, and message IDs, usernames, display names, avatars, roles, permissions, and relevant membership events.
- Moderation and safety records. Warnings, bans, timeouts, reasons, moderator notes, evidence links, screenshots, appeal statements, automated scam detection results, and previous roles used for quarantine recovery.
- Forms and conversations. Application answers, review decisions, ticket details, participants, and messages or attachment references included in transcripts. Bot-created private server channels may also have transcripts.
- Messages and attachments. Where access is granted, content used for commands, moderation, message logging, transcripts, and scam detection. Image text may be read by OCR. Relevant message excerpts, evidence files, and edited or deleted message content may appear in moderation logs.
- Optional community features. Profile bios, birthdays you provide, profile images, experience, levels, virtual balances, inventory, in-bot relationship links, and booster reward records.
- Configuration and technical records. Feature settings, message templates, webhook configuration, command activity, timestamps, and diagnostic logs needed to run and troubleshoot Cheek.
Cheek does not need your Discord password or account token. Do not include credentials or sensitive personal details in submissions.
03. How information is used
We use this information to carry out commands, apply server settings, support moderation and appeals, deliver forms and tickets, generate requested transcripts, maintain optional community features, prevent abuse, and diagnose service problems.
We do not sell personal information, use Discord data for targeted advertising, or use message content to train AI models. Cheek's automated scam detection uses rules and image text recognition.
04. Who can receive it
Server moderators and other people with access to the configured channels may see moderation logs, applications, appeals, and transcripts. Public profile cards and command replies may be visible to other members. Private server channels remain subject to the server's permissions and administration.
Cheek's operator and hosting providers may process information to operate and support the service. Discord processes bot interactions, messages, and uploaded files under its Privacy Policy.
If server administrators configure external ticket webhooks, ticket event details and relevant identifiers are sent to those destinations. Image search queries are sent to external search providers when you use the search command. Loading external images or following links also involves the relevant provider.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address abuse, protect users, or secure the service.
05. Storage and retention
Cheek stores configuration and feature records in its bot database. Logs and generated transcripts may also be stored as Discord messages or attachments. Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live.
Records are kept while needed to provide the relevant features, maintain moderation history, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. There is no fixed automatic expiry for all records. Some remain until an administrator or the operator removes them. Removing Cheek from a server does not automatically erase its database records or messages already posted.
We use access controls to protect the bot's storage and credentials. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Copies independently retained by server administrators, transcript recipients, or external services are subject to their control and policies.
06. Your choices and requests
You can choose not to use optional features or provide optional profile details. Server administrators can disable features, limit channel access, or remove Cheek. Discord's controls also let you manage direct messages and block the bot.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Cheek's operator, email safidev8@gmail.com. Describe your request and include the relevant Discord user or server ID if you know it. We may ask for limited verification that you control the account or server. Never send your password, token, or identity documents.
We will review requests and delete information under our control when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate moderation or security needs. If we cannot fulfill part of a request, we will explain why. Contact the relevant server's administrators about copies in their channels or transcripts.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, obtain a copy of your data, or complain to a privacy authority. Contact us to exercise an applicable right.
07. This website and younger users
This policy website has no account system, forms, advertising, or analytics scripts added by us. It does not use browser storage or set its own tracking cookies. Cloudflare hosts the website and may process IP addresses and technical request information for delivery and security under its Privacy Policy.
Cheek is intended for people who meet Discord's minimum age requirement, which is at least 13 and may be higher locally. If you believe Cheek holds information about someone below that age, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
08. Policy updates
We may update this policy when Cheek's features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice on this website or through the bot where practical.
